People plan and God laughs, right? The PUSH.audio team made the necessary decision to delay the formal release of PUSH.sunshine due to the events that have and that continue to unfold within communities across the nation. We took the position that a project with feel good vibes and warm weather enjoyment suggestions infused throughout was irresponsible and insensitive in a time where people collectively were either mourning, dealing with COVID-19 fallout, or both. We acknowledge that there is still an incredible amount of work to be done and our sincere condolences go out to the families of those lost to both the pandemic and gratuitous violence. As we persevere in the fights that loom ahead and surge towards recovery & reform, we offer PUSH.sunshine, not in an attempt to gloss over the critical tasks ahead, but as a reminder that brighter days are possible. The Supreme Court decision levied in favor of the LGBTQ+ community and their fight for equality in the workplace, is a very clear indication that change is not only plausible, but attainable and necessary!
